In addition, the SPS token manages the product to the player-base, asset owners, and stakeholders. SPS token holders get an opportunity to participate in management and advancements and acquire bonuses.

Further, the SPS token runs the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) structure of the Splintershards ecosystem through a sequence of the smart contracts that seek to be published on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) platform. Users can stake SPS token in BSC wallet address or a Splinterlands game account to receive staking rewards. However, staked SPS tokens are not liquid and may not be transferred or traded. Thus, users can either use staked tokens to participate in governance votes related to the game or earn rewards from the SPS Staking Rewards pool.
