The project plans to develop Membrane, a platform for developers and companies to build blockchain-based apps and work on existing software that is aimed to integrate with blockchain technology. Merge is based on a hybrid algorithm, i.e., PoW and PoS to seek to ensure secure, scalable, and fast transactions. The project has a crypto wallet compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows to store MERGE and conduct transactions. MERGE is a native token of the Project Merge platform that aims to serve a utility function to reward the developers for their creations and benefit the users and partners by staking.
