Global Digital Content, in short GDC, is a combination of the blockchain ecosystem with interactive streaming, NFT marketplace, DeFi, and crypto wallet. This blockchain ecosystem aims to be used to stream global entertainment content such as video games, sports, eSports, and movies.

As per its whitepaper, GDC is a utility token used for payments within the digital content ecosystem, formed by direct development and partnerships with affiliated companies.

As stated in the GDC whitepaper, the GDC token distribution aims to be as follows:

 GDC aims to expand its circulation by using in-game money (virtual money used within a game), and partnering with various blockchain-based games and digital media companies to serve as a payment method for digital products. In addition, the platform also aims to grow and expand its business and token ecosystem. In this way, GDC aims to expand the coverage of its services and increase its usability through direct development and alliance. 

GDC allows users to create tokens. When information and token values are entered, tokens can be created instantly. According to GDC’s whitepaper, GDC aims to use the Ethereum Plasma sidechain to create tokens. 

Furthermore, the GDC platform is designed to handle token generation, emission, and distribution in one place. The company's smart contract/token creation/issue platform seeks to enable future users to quickly enter and generate digital content (vouchers, in-game money, content, and much more). 

Global Digital Content is led by cofounders Darren Kim and Charles Chang. The project successfully completed its first ICO in 2018. There is a maximum total supply of 4,765,815,836 GDC tokens in the Global Digital Content.
